Security services are housing benefit eligible
Accommodation services are able to apply for financial assistance via housing benefit to supply security services for young people who are aged over 18.
Engagement with young people
The key to delivering a successful service is the engagement with young people, we do this by treating them how we like to be treated, getting to know them and trying to help them progress.
Complement existing support staff
Our policies and procedures have been co-produced with service providers. This is to ensure our policies and procedures are relevant to support service delivery. This also makes sure everyone is singing from the same page and all service users are treat equally.
Staff safety
When service users are violent our de-escalation techniques ensure the safety of staff. Staff can also be assured that the premises are secure due to regular patrols.
Reduction in emergency call outs
Our staff are trained to handle emergency situations allowing for most incidents to be resolved without the need of police assistance. However, there may be extremely serious incidents where the emergency services are required.
No staffing issues
Once shifts are agreed, all shifts will be covered. You will not have to worry about sickness or holidays. Stay Safe can also provide alternative staff cover at short notice.

Staff engage well with service users, this coupled with our de-escalation techniques means that most issues are resolved before they become incidents.
Safe and secure premises
Our staff are highly attentive to the CCTV, ensuring that any suspicious behaviour around the premises is addressed. Our regular internal, external and premises border patrols mean that only service users and staff are on the premises.
